Laura Kim

Laura Kim is a senior portfolio manager, working with the chief investment officer to manage Mellon’s investment portfolio across asset classes with a focus on private investments, including buyouts and venture capital.

Prior to joining Mellon, Laura was an investment manager at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, covering all asset classes for the long-term investment pool and overseeing the short-term investment pool and pension portfolio. She also worked at the Harvard Management Company as an assistant vice president.

She holds a BS in finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business, and is a CFA charterholder.
