Anthony Williams

Executive Assistant

Anthony Williams is an executive assistant in the Public Knowledge program, providing support to Program Officer Patricia Hswe.

Before joining Mellon, Anthony served as the special assistant to the executive director of the Fund for Public Schools, as well as special assistant to the executive director of the McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research at New York University. Most recently, he was the coordinator of teaching institutes and assistant to the executive director at the Modern Language Association.

Anthony holds a BA in sociology and anthropology from Pace University, an MFA in creative writing from Columbia University, and an EdM with a concentration in language and literacy from Harvard University. He holds the distinguished honor of serving in the US Army for five years, deploying to Iraq twice. After active duty, Anthony served in the New York National Guard for three years.
