Mellon All-Projects Meeting: Archaeology

March 5-7, 2008

The Scholarly Communications of The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has provided assistance to scholars in various fields for the development of online resources that promise substantially to advance knowledge and scholarship. One of those fields in which the Foundation has supported several projects is archaeology, and the Foundation is planning to host an all-projects meeting, in which project staff would meet with each other and selected outside experts. The specific purpose of the meeting would be for participants to exchange information, to facilitate discussion, to learn from one another, to compare procedures and methodologies, to identify possible collaborations, to identify gaps and possibly ways to work more effectively.

Participation is by invitation only.
